Paxos Sandbox - Platform Maintenance Jun 1, 2026 14:00 - Jun 5, 2026 18:00 UTC

Please note that Paxos will be conducting scheduled Sandbox platform maintenance from June 1 through June 19, 2026.

During this period, maintenance activities may occur on weekdays between 14:00 and 18:00 UTC (10:00AM – 2:00PM ET). The Sandbox environment may intermittently return errors or be temporarily unavailable during these windows.

This maintenance is part of infrastructure resilience testing. No action is required on your part, and Production environments are not affected.

We appreciate your patience and will provide updates if there are any changes to this schedule.

Paxos - FIX API Incident Resolved
Resolved - We experienced a brief outage affecting FIX connections at 13:20 UTC, which caused active FIX sessions to disconnect momentarily.
The issue was resolved within 2 minutes, and FIX connections are now active again.

Pausing of Transfers for Bitcoin Cash Upgrade

Scheduled - Prior to the upcoming Bitcoin Cash Upgrade, Paxos will pause on-chain Bitcoin Cash network transfers at approximately 11:00 UTC on May 15, 2026. BCH “CashVM” upgrade is targeted for May 15, 2026 at ~12:00:00 UTC (MTP-based activation against unix timestamp 1778846400). Consequently, all deposits and withdrawals on the BCH network will be delayed.

Once the fork has completed and we confirm the stability of the new network, we will notify you to resume your transfer activities. You can expect services to be restored approximately 2-4 hours after the upgrade.

We do not anticipate any disruption to trading during this period. You will continue to be able to trade all Paxos-supported crypto assets on the Paxos platform.

We will send out reminders via status.paxos.com 60 minutes before we pause on-chain BCH network transfers.
